Vertically integrated oil company (VIOC)
VIOC is a structure that integrates crude oil extraction and processing with storage and sales within a single company. The advantages of a VIOC are its’ independence from the oil majors, guaranteed timely deliverables and settlements, price stability ensuing from higher profitability of whole-cycle operations, and also higher quality of the produce.
Today, COMPLEX-OIL is one of the leading oil products wholesalers in Russia with an annual turnover of over $270 million and high growth ratio. The company owns tank farms in three Russian regions, and it also owns TABEG GmbH, Germany’s largest independent underground tank farm network with a total storage volume of over 750 000 m3.
Over the seven years of our history, COMPLEX-OIL has developed an impeccable credit history with Russia’s major financial institutions, such as Sberbank, Gazprombank, Alfa-Bank and Uralsib. We have arranged about a hundred loan agreements, placed and redeemed three issues of promissory notes for a total amount of $25 million, and placed a bond issue of $38 million in February 2007. The overall amount pf debt capital attracted, including public placements, has exceeded $137 million. All liabilities have been met in due time and manner.
What we offer is an opportunity to participate in financing our infrastructural projects, such as acquisition of oil extracting and processing facilities and fuel station networks. At present, we consider acquiring oil fields with proved reserves of over 10 million tons in Russia, as well as oil processing facilities with production capacity of over 100 thousand tons per annum and networks of over 50 fuel stations in Europe.
